is a soundtrack programmed in two parts featuring a chilly-but-vibrant playlist of instrumental electronic music that varies stylistically from frigid contemplation to the glitchy nightlife of the underrealm. Leading the listener loosely through the misadventure of sentient flame Blackfire as he stumbles into a Svirfneblin birthday party, this sound trip is intended to be enjoyed with this character and setting in mind as he moseyes through Neon Cave and wanders into a deep and strange world that offers him festival, romance, and sacrificial peril.

I'd call it dungeon-synth in its intention and its concept, but I paint with a wide brush, and many DS traditionalists will feel challenged by this. Therefore, I think it best to call this album an OST, or "official soundtrack," in genre. BITCONC is a cool little collection of ideas and backgrounds that I think you'll enjoy; turn out the lights and crank down the AC as the warmth of your breath dances upward against the neon glow of these sounds. Any of these tracks would be perfectly suited for a variety of settings, looped for action sequences, ambience, and exploration.

TL;DR Dungeon-synth concepts meet Depeche Mode stylings in a cold, fluorescent cave party that poor Blackfire is not likely to ever forget.
